Staycity Aparthotel
The Lightsource team, working in partnership with the Staycity design team provided a suite of lighting products. Customised to their exact needs and with a modern feel, we provided a lighting product that fits the brief of making an apartment 'feel like home'. We proposed the Marset 'Funiculí' range of table & floor lights, with a customised colour palette to match the interior designs. We think it turned out really well. You can view the products from the link below. Do you have a project that requires a one-stop shop lighting service approach? Call us now! Thanks.
The Irish owned Staycity Aparthotels services the growing needs of both city & business travellers that standard hotel rooms just don't cut the mustard for. The Dublin based company is was founded in 2004 by brothers Tom & Ger Walsh, with the company's mission to deliver an exceptional mid-market, user-friendly alternative to hotel accommodation for the travelling public.
Fast forward to 2018 the Staycity group now operates in major cities across Europe - Birmingham, Dublin, Edinburgh, Liverpool Paris & Manchester to name a few. With 3,000 apartments currently servicing the hospitality market, the group's ambitious plans are to have 15,000 apartment rooms by 2022.
Lightsource stepped in to assist the team on their recent addition to the Staycity portfolio in Manchester, 'London's cooler, more alternative cousin.'
The Manchester Piccadilly consists of 182 serviced apartments, with all the modern amenities a weary traveller can count on - fully-equipped kitchen, spacious bedrooms, comfy couches and of course, lighting to match the signature brand guidelines that the Staycity group is now known for.
